MEMORIZATION BIBLE VERSE - ARCHIVES

Week 1 (January 1-3, 2015)

OLD TESTAMENT
"The seed will grow well, the vine will yield its fruit, the ground will produce its crops, and the heavens will drop their dew. I will give all these things as an inheritance to the remnant of this people. And as you have been an object of cursing among the nations, O Judah and Israel, so will I save you, and you will be a blessing. Do not be afraid, but let your hands be strong." (Zechariah 8:12-13 NIV)

NEW TESTAMENT
"Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed." (1 Peter 1:13 NIV)

Week 2 (January 4-10, 2015)

OLD TESTAMENT
"And behold, the angel who talked with me came forward, and another angel came forward to meet him and said to him, ‘Run, say to that young man, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as villages without walls, because of the multitude of people and livestock in it. And I will be to her a wall of fire all around, declares the Lord, and I will be the glory in her midst.'" (Zechariah 2:3-5 ESV).

NEW TESTAMENT
"For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect." (1 Peter 1:18-19 NIV)

Week 3 (January 11-17, 2015)

OLD TESTAMENT
"Then those who feared The Lord talked with each other, and The Lord listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared The Lord and honored his name. They will be mine, says The Lord Almighty, in the day when I make up my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as in compassion a man spares his son who serves him. And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not." (Malachi 3:16-18 NIV).

NEW TESTAMENT
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time." (1 Peter 1:3-5 ESV)

Week 4 (January 18-324, 2015)

OLD TESTAMENT
"Then the Lord said to Joshua, Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Take the whole army with you, and go up and attack Ai. For I have delivered into your hands the king of Ai, his people, his city and his land." (Joshua 8:1 NIV) (Zechariah 8:12-13 NIV)

NEW TESTAMENT
"Jesus told him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him!" (John 14:6, Holy Bible New Living Translation)

Week 5 (January 25-31, 2015)

OLD TESTAMENT
"But when Elisha, the man of God, heard that the king of Israel had torn his clothes in dismay, he sent this message to him: Why are you so upset? Send Naaman to me, and he will learn that there is a true prophet here in Israel. So Naaman went with his horses and chariots and waited at the door of Elisha’s house. But Elisha sent a messenger out to him with this message: Go and wash yourself seven times in the Jordan River. Then your skin will be restored, and you will be healed of your leprosy." (2 Kings 5:7-8 NLT)

NEW TESTAMENT
"Jesus reached out and touched him. "I am willing," he said. "Be healed!" And instantly the leprosy disappeared. Then Jesus said to him, Don’t tell anyone about this. Instead, go to the priest and let him examine you. Take along the offering required in the law of Moses for those who have been healed of leprosy. This will be a public testimony that you have been cleansed." (Matthew 8:3-4 NLT)

Week 6 (February 1-7, 2015)

OLD TESTAMENT
"Then I called on the name of the LORD: “O LORD, save me!” The LORD is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion. The Lord protects the simple-hearted; when I was in great need, He saved me. Be at rest once more, O my soul, for the LORD has been good to you." (Psalm 116:4-7 NIV)

NEW TESTAMENT
"What then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will He not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies." (Romans 8:31-33 NIV)

Week 7 (February 8-14, 2015)

OLD TESTAMENT
"Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom." (Isaiah 40:28 NIV)

NEW TESTAMENT
"Who has known the mind of the LORD? Or who has been his counselor? Who has ever given to God, that God should repay him? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen." (Romans 11:34-36 NIV)

Week 8 (February 15-21, 2015)

OLD TESTAMENT
"Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them on the day of the wrath of the LORD. In the fire of his jealousy, all the earth shall be consumed; for a full and sudden end he will make of all the inhabitants of earth." (Zephaniah 1:18 ESV)

NEW TESTAMENT
"To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation. I know your deeds, that you are neither cold or hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth." (Revelation 3:14-16 NIV)

Week 9 (February 22-28, 2015)

OLD TESTAMENT
"Seek the LORD, all you humble of the land, you who do what he commands. Seek righteousness, seek humility; perhaps you will be sheltered on the day of the LORD’s anger." (Zephaniah 2:3 NIV)

NEW TESTAMENT
"Anyone with ears to her should listen and understand. Anyone who is destined for prison will be taken to prison. Anyone destined to die by the sword will die by the sword. This means that God’s holy people must endure persecution patiently and remain faithful." (Revelations 13:10 NLT)
