WISDOM FOR THE AGES

FROM THE BOOK OF PROVERBS

“Wisdom rests in the heart of a man of understanding, but it makes itself known even in the midst of fools.” (Proverbs 14:33 ESV)

FROM THE BOOK OF ECCLESIASTES

“As dead flies cause even a bottle of perfume to stink, so a little foolishness spoils great wisdom and honor.” (Ecclesiastes 10:1 NLT)

Bible Quote

GOD IS OMNISCIENT. SOLOMON WAS THE WISEST MAN WHO EVER LIVED.
Almighty God implanted extraordinary wisdom to a mere man. God can endow you with godly wisdom for your daily living.

God:Solomon, my child, you have worshipped me and brought honor and glory to my name. You have built my Temple where my children can bring thanksgiving and praise offerings to me. What do you want me to do for you? Ask me for anything and I will give it to you!

Solomon:“Lord God, You showed faithful love to David, my father, and now you have made me king in his place. O Lord God, please continue to keep your promise to David my father, for you have made me king over a people as numerous as the dust of the earth! This is not a small task, Lord. You got to help me, please God! Give me the wisdom and knowledge to lead them properly, for who could possibly govern this great people of yours? All I want is wisdom, Lord and knowledge to apply that wisdom in my decisions as King.

God: Solomon, because your greatest desire is to help your people, and you did not ask for wealth, riches, fame, or even the death of your enemies or a long life, but rather you asked for wisdom and knowledge to properly govern my people—I will certainly give you the wisdom and knowledge you requested. But I will also give you wealth, riches, and fame such as no other king has had before you or will ever have in the future!

Solomon:“Thank you, God! Oh yes! Lord! Thank you very much dear God. You are awesome.

Solomon:  “Thank you, God! Oh yes! Lord! Thank you very much dear God. You are awesome.

THE END:Solomon was greater in wisdom and riches than all the other kings of the earth. All the kings of the earth sought audience with Solomon to hear the wisdom God had put in his heart. Year after year everyone who came brought a gift—articles of silver and gold, and robes, weapons and spices, and horses and mules. God fulfilled His promise to Solomon. Solomon became filled with great wisdom and blessed with great riches. King Solomon was the wisest man who ever lived. And the richest man who ever lived. Some of his wise sayings are recorded in the Holy Bible in the Old Testament books of Proverbs, and Ecclesiastes.
