Our Story

How God Called This Ministry

The Divine Mandate

«In the early dawn of Sunday, August 1, 1999, as I slumbered, God came down to Bowie, Maryland, USA, and tapped me for kingdom work.» God gave Servant Hortense a direct mandate to proclaim His Word and speak to hurting people, specifically on the continent of Africa. After wrestling with God through fear and tears, she surrendered to the plan.

The Name & The Calling

The ministry was named DO IT FOR CHRIST — where «IT» means «Living.» To live for Christ. To do everything for Christ. «In this life we all experience trials one way or another. We can overcome adversity and turn troubles into triumphs by knowing Christ intimately.»

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Promised Messiah who came to die for the sins of humanity.
3
We believe Salvation through Jesus Christ is the Only Way to God. There is no other name under heaven.
4
We believe the Bible is the Inspired and Authoritative Word of God — inerrant, living, and powerful.
5
We believe in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ to judge the whole earth. Prepare your heart for His return.
6
We believe the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven with a shout, the voice of an archangel, and the sound of the trumpet.
